Grad Mapping Workshop 1: Self-Assess & Explore Options [GradPro]

January 31 @ 2:30 pm - 4:00 pm

See organizers’ website for details.

Grad life doesn’t come with clear directions, so sometimes you need to draft your own map. GradPro and the Career Center’s Grad Mapping program provides the space for you to figure out how to make the most of your campus experience and transition toward future opportunities, using tools designed specifically for Master’s, Professional, and Ph.D. students by experts across top universities. Rather than trying to figure out your whole life, start with the first step by planning your semester in Workshop 1.

Workshop 1 focuses on self-assessment and exploration of opportunities within and beyond grad school. You’ll survey your values, draft your alternate futures, and plot your semester plan. This workshop is especially helpful for students going through professional transitions. After Workshop 1, you have the opportunity to join semester-long check-in groups, enter the “Passport to Professional Development” challenge, as well as participate in “Workshop 2: Plan Your Summer” at the end of the semester. This workshop is highly interactive. If possible, we recommend that you bring a laptop or other device that can connect to Wi-Fi internet.
