First-Generation Graduate Student Mixer

We’re hosting a two‑hour evening event that brings together first‑generation graduate and professional students from Haas and across UC Berkeley for structured community‑building, light career conversations, and resource sharing. The event will feature a short panel of first‑gen graduate students and alumni, a guided small‑group discussion, and informal networking with food and light giveaways.

The goal is to create an affirming space where first‑gen students can connect across programs, share concrete strategies for navigating graduate school, and leave with at least one new peer connection and one specific resource they can use immediately.
