Faculty careers panel: “Negotiating Your Start-Up Package in Academia”

Receiving a job offer is an exciting achievement for any candidate. However, establishing circumstances that will enable you to succeed in a new job requires preparation, evaluation and effective communication. This panel will address what you need to know about negotiating start-up packages for tenure-track faculty roles and is recommended for bioscientists (and other interested STEM trainees) who plan to pursue a faculty career in a research institution, whether or not you are currently on the job market.
