Welcome to the kick-off event for STEM*FYI!
We are excited to invite you to our upcoming event, Cultural Dress & Paint Night, hosted by STEM*FYI!
This event aims to celebrate the diversity within Berkeley’s STEM community through cultural dress and art expression. Participants will (1) share the stories behind their cultural attire and learn about others’ traditions; (2) engage in a collaborative paint activity symbolizing unity and intersection of cultures; (3) reflect on how diversity enriches scientific innovation and the UC Berkeley’s mission to foster inclusive excellence. In a time when the global landscape is marked by conflict and division, this gathering offers a space for peace, understanding, and shared humanity.
