Creating and Using Grading Rubrics [GSI Center]

February 13 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am

See organizers’ website for details and registration.

In this workshop participants will learn how to create and use grading rubrics as a means to grade efficiently, give students targeted feedback on their learning, and align grading with learning outcomes articulated in assignments.

This workshop fulfills a requirement of the Teaching Certificate Program.

Pre-Registration
This pre-registration form is for currently enrolled UC Berkeley graduate students. Others are welcome to attend on a space-available basis.

If you intend for your participation in this workshop to count toward the Certificate Program, you must stay for the entire workshop.

*Please note that the elevator in Sproul Hall will be unavailable from January 1, 2019 to March 31, 2019. During that time, the Graduate Division offices (third and fourth floors), will only be accessible via the stairway. Please give as much advance notice as possible if the elevator’s inaccessibility might prevent you from participating in the workshops held on February 13 and March 13. We request a minimum of 10 days notice in order to make alternative arrangements, and we apologize for the inconvenience.
