Paragraphs are the building blocks of most academic writing and the transitions between paragraphs are what make a piece feel whole and stand on its own. In this interactive workshop, we will first learn how to write good paragraphs. Then, we will practice transitions within and between them (I just did one in this sentence!). The goal of this workshop is for you to leave with a strong understanding of how to use paragraphs and transitions to construct strong arguments and write effective texts. As you will see, a few small tweaks can make all the difference as you build your pieces.
