The French Office for Science and Technology is offering eight scholarships to Ph.D. students from U.S. laboratories to attend a seminar on chemical analysis.The 2-day “Nanoscale” seminar will take place at Cemes in Toulouse, France, in March 2014. The event will give Ph.D. students the opportunity to present and discuss their work with their peers

Each scholarship of up to $3,000 can be used to cover expenses related to the seminar, including round-trip travel to France, travel within France (Toulouse and Grenoble), and accommodations. The deadline to apply for the scholarship is November 1, 2013.
