This is a three-year award for U.S. citizens or nationals, on DACA status, or permanent residents of the U.S. who have demonstrated superior academic achievement, are committed to a career in teaching and research at the college or university level, show promise of future achievement as scholars and teachers, and are well prepared to use diversity as a resource for enriching the education of all students.
The Predoctoral Fellowships provide three years of support, with a stipend of $20,000 plus institutional allowance, for up to 60 individuals engaged in graduate study leading to a Ph.D. or Sc.D. degree. Applicants are encouraged to choose a host institution other than the institution with which they are affiliated at the time of application. Applications for this fellowship are due November 20, 2015.
Postdoctoral Fellowships provide up to 24 individuals with a stipend of $40,000 for one year, plus an institutional allowance program. Applicants must present a clearly articulated plan of study or research that will further his or her career in higher education and an explanation of the particular benefits that would accrue from affiliation with the proposed institution. Applications for this fellowship are due November 13, 2015.
