Each year the Phi Beta Kappa Alpha of California Chapter awards a number of fellowships to members of Phi Beta Kappa who are currently enrolled as doctoral students at UC Berkeley. The application for the 2013-2014 academic year will be posted on the organization’s website in mid-October. These fellowships are made possible by the generous contributions from Phi Beta Kappa alumni as well as the Phi Beta Kappa Northern California Association. The six winners of the 2012-2013 fellowship awards of $5,000 each are: Abigail L. Andrews, Sociology Nicholas W. Baer, Film & Media Carrie A. Cizauskas, Environmental Science, Policy, & Management Rachel N. Denison, Neuroscience Matthew W. Goodheart, Music Composition Alison M.
