sin-fronteras-programThis summer Berkeley Social Welfare graduate students are embarking on an six-week international opportunity in Oaxaca, Mexico. Students in the Sin Fronteras program will spend their time refining Spanish language skills and working with local non-governmental organizations (NGOs).

These experiences will help them gain a better understanding of local health and mental health practices while helping those organizations reach their goals. These graduate students will return to the Bay Area with more skills, better able to support the Latino community in the United States as social workers.

Sin Fronteras needs your help! Your support will go directly towards covering room and board with Oaxacan families and tuition at the Becari Language school. 15% will be donated to partner agencies in Oaxaca.

Any amount helps, no donation is too small and even donations of a few dollars will help students participate in this worthwhile program. See the Berkeley Social Welfare website for details.
