Next week the Berkeley Science Review is co-hosting an event with the Career Development Initiative in the Physical Sciences (CDIPS) at Berkeley. Michelangelo D’Agostino (a former BSR writer and editor) will be giving a talk entitled “Physics, Data Science, and Presidential Politics.” Tuesday, February 17th, 2015 5 – 6 pm 375 LeConte Hall Michael was a data scientist for the Obama campaign and continues to do similar work. Additionally, he was a science writer for the The Economist during his Physics Ph.D. He will be speaking about both parts of his career.
