Berkeley Lab’s Workforce Development & Education (WD&E) Department has one  opening for a Communications Student Assistant to research, write, and edit impact reports and other work about our science education programs.

Additionally, the student assistant will maintain our social media presence (by creating and posting content, monitoring messages and working with staff to develop ideas for new content), and research and write basic news releases and profile stories as assigned.

Currently enrolled students pursuing a degree, at either the undergraduate or graduate level, are eligible to apply for this opportunity. Hourly pay is dependent on degree progress and ranges from $15.00-$19.36/hr.
