new library websiteTo welcome back students this fall semester, the Library is delivering new services to make your time at the library more efficient! A newly designed Library website is also now available. To find out more about copyright and fair use policy, visit the new copyright page on the Library website.

As always, graduate students can find more information about library privileges, renewing online, support for teaching, scholarly communication, research support, and off-campus access to databases on the Information for graduate students and GSIs page.

A new online paging service allows you to order books that will be delivered to the campus library closest to you. Use the Berkeley Oskicat catalog to find the book that you need and click “Request” to have the book delivered.

Do you need to access a scholarly journal but don’t have the time to go to the library? Browzine is a tablet application that allows you to read thousands of scholarly journals available from the UC Berkeley Library.

Did you forget to bring your laptop to campus but still want to enjoy the fresh air? 20 Macbook Air Laptops and 10 Apple iPads Air are also available for check-out at Moffitt Library and can be used anywhere on campus. For more information and to check out a laptop today, visit the UC Berkeley Electronic Devices Lending Policy.
