MCB 295 is a career and professional development seminar series for life science PhDs organized by students in the Department of Molecular and Cell Biology at the University of California, Berkeley. Each weekly session features a panel of speakers from a variety of careers who share their post-PhD paths. In addition, we host workshops on topics in career development, including networking, resume building, interview techniques, and negotiation skills. To receive weekly updates about our events, sign up for our mailing list at the bottom of the page. We meet every Monday evening in the spring semester between 6:00-7:30pm in Barker 101 on the UC Berkeley campus. Our full schedule can be found here. Everyone is welcome to our seminars, but we ask that UC Berkeley students register for the course on CalCentral so that we can maintain an official headcount (and have leverage when asking for funding!) – use the CCN 27757, and choose the S/U option.
